About Me

Since my first "gig" at The Turning Point in Piermont, NY in the late 80's I have sought after authentic music venues that provide a beacon for music people of that region.  My first gig was an open mic night and I played two songs "Werewolves in London" and "I Shot the Sheriff". I was awful, but with my buddy Tim O'C at my side, we snuck in the club and got our first real taste of being in the belly of the beast.

During my many adventures and business travels over the last 35 years to America's big and small cities, I often made time to explore and check out the local music venues. Sometimes I got lucky and was able to catch a great show, but regardless of the event, just seeing the place and walking through the lobby towards the stage was enough to satisfy my passion.
